Saturday night Blues and Highlanders vs each other it started  at 7:00 it was almost time for the game to start so I sat down and watched tv. I changed the channel  to the rugby game.

When I changed the channel  my mum said ‘’ that we  had to get ready to go to my aunty house’’ So I went to get ready and we left when it was kick off  I ran into the car and we left to my aunt's house when we arrived  they were watching so i went and sat down and watched.

The Blues were winning then the highlanders came back and then the first half was over i only watched the first half then I went and played outside when it was time to go home I heard that the Blues won .

Sport At Tamaki College

Every week we go down to Tamaki College for P.E. We walk from school to Tamaki. We are so lucky that Tamaki College is just down the road as we walk there on Thursdays and Fridays. Tamaki is filled with Polynesian and Maori students.

Once you get to Tamaki we got put into seven groups we have 3 to 2 tutors boy or girl. We have 10 - 12 students in each group. Our tutors for P.E is Kathleen, Nane and Siale they are all girls. We are so lucky we have a small amount of kids in our group.

Our first activity we did was relays. We had to run to our tutor, pick up this stick and spin around 10x. Then we did 5 star jumps, And Start running back and tag the next person. Next activity was to work as a term we walk on this wood thing and we have to the other side so we have to make room for everyone. If we touch the ground we all have to start over.

P.E is good for you to lose weight and to keep up your fitness up and high. Walking from school to Tamaki College is like fitness and running around doing P.E is extra fitness to me. It is really good for kids to keep fit and high grated for the whole day.

Cyclone Luis

What is a Cyclone?  A cyclone is when there are very strong winds. It’s so strong, that it can rip off anything that is attached to the ground.  There can be severe storms and rough rains. A Cyclone is very dangerous. It can cause a lot of damage.

 

Last weekend Auckland experienced heavy rain, and very strong winds. It wasn't severe as we thought it would be. But it was still very frightening.

What has happened lately??

Last weekend Cyclone Lusi,  hit the North of New Zealand. There was heavy rain, power outages, panicking, floods and lots of dark clouds,

Possibilities?

A cyclone can possibly cause, water shortages, deaths, accidents, extension damage and  no school.  Well it just happened this weekend. When Polyfest was postponed, to Tuesday.  

Fiafia Practice

Every Thursday afternoon we have fiafia practice I am happy to have fiafia cause its fun practicing what you are going to perform in front of a huge audience. Sometimes you feel shy to perform in front of lots of, people but its just normal your get use to it.

How do we get put into groups? Well you have two go to your class site and there is a form. The form is for you to put your name what group you want to be in. You only have three choices to pick what group you want to be in. Then the teachers pick out of your three choices and put into one of those groups.

Fia fia is cool practicing all your cool moves in our group we think of what song we are going to do. Then we get into groups and come up with ideas and we show our moves in front of our group. After that we decided if we should do it or not, after a few week we practice over and over to get it right and sometimes we get into four or five groups and we do the dance and if we get it wrong we have to do it again.

I really like fiafia its cool joining in different groups. I really wish that fiafia can be every year but too bad its not. The most thing I like about fiafia is trying out different things.The only group I remember that I was in when I was little was Samoan and Tongan. Now that i’m older i’m starting to try out different groups.     

Sketchup

Have you heard of sketchup? If you haven't then I am going to tell you who uses it sketchup is used for anyone kids,parents,teachers anyone can use. You can uses it anytime with your friend yourself and even with your parent.

Sketchup is and design programme it can be use for 3D printing it is also a drawing tool you can move around you can draw all sorts of shapes. You can make a car ipad boat phone ipod anything sketchup is one of the best drawing tool to me its fun.

Sketchup is special to me because I love to create things its fun. I love sketchup its one of my favorite designs project to draw stuff on. You can do 3D printing at our school Point England we like to make our sketchup designs nice and small its up to you if you want it big or not.
