Ata Swimming Lesson

Walking through the entrance I was happy that I was here. As soon as I had a quick rinse, I quickly trudged into the swimming pool. Slowly getting colder and colder I waiting for the others to come in the pool.

I swam to the end without stopping. Finally I got up and rested for ten seconds.  “Swim a bit faster” shouted our instructor. When I got to the end I counted in my head to ten. When we got there  I was huffing and puffing like a dog that just finished running from Glen Innes to Mangere.

“Swimming is so much fun” I said happily. I hope I will be a great swimmer when I grow up.

Really well done Ata. You have produced a brilliant piece of writing here. You have used some great words in your first paragraph and I am pleased to see the speech in there to.

My favourite part is where you said 'I was huffing and puffing like a dog...'. I thought that was hilarious.

Keep this level up please. Great job.
